Good Morning!

I want to take this moment now that I settled down, changed, and getting ready for my next leg...

Team UA had a runner develop an injury and dropped out. That meant the rest of the team to pick up the extra legs. It also meant we would not make our original timeline.

As I passed my 100th armadillo tail, broken turtle shell, and 1000th dead frog, I thought about how everyone showed their resiliency and got after it. As their paces slowed a little bit, and the fatigue started to set in, we had to stop the whole team and rest at 1 or 1:30 AM and got up at 5 AM.

We woke up this morning and hit the road running by 6 AM. What were you doing at that time?

As I started to feel the the burn this morning I searched for a little bit of motivation, and BAM there it was - Team UA. The Big Dog Big Dog Fleet Feet and Uncommon Uncommon Athlete, Inc spirit prevailed.

I am so proud to be a part of this great team with members that epitomize both organizations!
