This season to get the dogs in shape for the quail season we headed out west. We started our hunt in a spot called "The Bean Field". Last season our greatest dog of all time Sterndog Kennels, Sterndog Norton's Salty Jeans Bean passed away in this field doing what she loved. This season this field was the first field we hunted. Every dog we put on the ground was Bean's offspring. Bean has 100% passed on her legacy. This was a epic hunting trip with brothers George & Geoff Sterner, along with Ava Jean Sterner. Epic in every way.

Sterndog's Bertha is looking for new home. Bertha has been a professional guide dog for the last two seasons with Sterndog Hunts. She has a great disposition and temperament. She will make a great upland hunting dog and companion. She has outstanding tools - nose, ground speed, style, & she is a strong retriever. See her in action Sterndog Hunts page has multiple clips. Sterndog Hunts is looking for new homes for Bertha & Julio. If you have hunted with Sterndog Hunts in the last two seasons you have hunted over these dogs. These two dogs are out of my two personal best dogs Oscar & Czech. My family and I whelped the litter and we have raised these dogs from the day they were born. Both dogs are well trained guide dogs. They are very well socialized, and both dogs have great dispositions. They are 4.5 years old. These dogs are well trained and ready to hunt. They will make you proud in any upland hunting situation. Julio could be turned into a water fowl dog with very little work. He loves the water. PM me if you are interested.

Our members have over 250 acres of fields and ponds, managed with an eye toward conservation, to run, train, test and compete their dogs.

From Family Fun days, to bird dog introduction, to hunt test, to field trials, to National-bird events and more, our club grounds are dedicated to developing and enjoying successful bird dogs and bird dog handlers

Up for Consideration: Sterndog Kennels Bertha & Julio. These two dogs are litter mates out of my two personal best GWP's Oscar & Czech. Whelped Sept. 9th 2019. These dogs are just coming into their prime. These two are young veterans in the field. Bertha has more field trial capabilities out of the two, and Julio is much stronger in the water. It's tough to let either one of these dogs go so I'm looking for the right situation. If you are interested in either dog please PM me for more details.
