Due the lingering winter storm of snow, ice, and frost, Heron Lake will remain closed today and reopen on Saturday, January 25, 2025, depending on frost delay.

🌨️🏌️‍♂️ **Important Update from Heron Lakes Country Club!** 🏌️‍♀️❄️

As we prepare for the arrival of some chilly (and hopefully snowy!) weather, we want to let you know about our updated hours.

📅 **Monday, January 20th:** The pro shop will be opening at 10 AM, with tee times starting at 11 AM.

📅 **Please note:** The course will be closed for the entire day on Tuesday, January 21st.

We also kindly ask our wonderful neighbors who live on the golf course to refrain from playing in the snow on our fairways. We completely understand how tempting it is to build snowmen and have fun in the snow, and we truly appreciate your cooperation. As you may know, walking on the frozen ground can cause significant damage to the turf, as the act of stepping on the frozen ground compacts the soil, hindering root growth and access to necessary nutrients and water. We want to ensure that we can provide the best possible playing conditions for our golfers once the weather warms up.

We will update you a little closer to next Wednesday and Thursday, and let you know our plans for those days.
