YOUR AMERICA AF GYM
The Forge Strength Gym is a collaborative vision of Jim Jarvis and Kevin Elliot who saw a need for a gym based on the old school gyms of years gone by. The very people who made fitness a household name, bodybuilders, power lifters and other strength athletes once the only ones found in a gym now have no place to train. Most commercial gyms are dedicated to the occasional fitness enthusiast and not the serious strength trainer. Gyms are no longer places where strength and size are encouraged rather they have become all about pleasing the masses leaving the founders of fitness behind.
This motivated Jim and Kevin to create a gym that is solely dedicated to the minority...the serious strength athlete. In order to do this they built the gym with two things in mind, free weights and community. Every athlete knows that atmosphere contributes to success and having the right equipment and people who bring the best out of each other is the key!
So, The Forge is a place for those who don’t desire all the pomp and circumstance of the other places and just want to train with other like minded people. The Forge will be a place of respect, not only for the needs of the athletes but for one another. It is not a fitness center, it’s a strength gym!
