For those of you who have questions on exactly what makes Crappie Bombs work, and how to use them here's a quick video of a bomb being tipped with a minnow. INFO 🔽 🔽 🔽
You can catch fish on a crappie bombs with or without a minnow! However they work 10x better during the warmer months tipped with a minnow as shown in the video. We've had success without tipping with a minnow during colder weather (water temps below 60)
Crappie Bombs work so well because it gives you the ability to drop into the thickest brush or structures without having to worry about losing your bait. The unique design is a 1/4 ounce weight with a solid split ring between the weight and hook. They're connected by a split ring so the weight itself can swing freely while the hook is hung up. The weight of the Crappie Bomb is the perfect amount to knock the hook off everytime!
When you do get hung up you have to make sure there's slack in your line and shake your rod tip. You can shake it aggressively as well! "Slack and shake" We will have a video soon demonstrating this as well!
