This is true, that storage compartment is enormous. But our favorite place to store boards is in the huge Apollo swivel racks and the board pockets on top of the Bimini.
Where do you store your boards?
How many surfboards can we get under our Observer’s Seat? Quite a few! It is comfortable, it has a great armrest/drink holder area, and it can store surfboards! Come see one for yourself at your local boat show!

Nothing will upgrade the look and feel of your pontoon faster than new flooring. We took this 2002 Aqua Patio down to the toons, replaced the aging wood subfloor, and changed out the carpet for gorgeous new marine vinyl. Feels like a new boat!

Very thankful everyone involved is safe after this capsize incident at Winnebago this morning. Stay safe out there, friends!
Sunday morning around 11, we saw the Highway Patrol Water Rescue unit racing up 291 and turn into Lake Winnebago. That's always a huge concern.
But we've since discovered that everybody is safe from a boat capsize incident near the Yacht Club. Best case scenario for everybody.

Why is winterizing your boat so important?
Check this out. This is the motor out of a boat a customer purchased this spring from a third party, not realizing it hadn’t been properly winterized.
What you’re seeing is water draining out of the oil pan, and then oil mixed with water draining at the end (looks like chocolate milk); due to the natural separation of oil and water, the oil rises to the top of the water.
This is all from water being allowed to enter the engine and eventually the oil pan, through a cracked block from improper winterization.
We have seen and heard too many heart break stories like this since the new and used market surged due to covid. This is also a perfect example of why it’s important to have a boat inspected and ideally lake tested prior to purchase. But that is another story for another day.
Do not let this happen to you. The cost of a winterization is insignificant compared to the cost of replacing an engine.
Even if you’re planning on boating for another month or two, now is the time to get on our schedule.

When should you winterize your boat?
We are asked nearly every day this time of year, ‘When is best time to winterize?’
And our answer is always the same, ‘When you’re done boating for the season.’
Our boating season is short enough. We don’t want anyone cutting it short if they’re going to keep boating. But for the majority, the season ends or significantly begins to taper off after Labor Day.
If you know you won’t make it out again, it’s best to have this service done early, ahead of the rush. Even if you won’t be done for another month or two, the best time to schedule is right now.

Ouch. Many of the lakes in our area unfortunately have shallow spots or stumpy areas that are not well marked and create hazards for boaters. We can get you back on the water quickly, and are happy to work directly with your insurance company or help navigate the claim process.
