Our first PGF tournament. 50+ teams from all over the country, all 13U. Going to be some amazing competition!!

Aaannnndddd…..we’re back!! Kicked off fall practice with some yoga. 🧘‍♀️

Tis’ the season for mums!!

Our team is running a mums fundraiser now - Sept 10th with delivery on Sept 18th.

Season finale - 4th place in the Midwest Nationals!

These girls were running on sheer adrenaline and power pellets (Skittles) and managed to take 4th in the Midwest Nationals competing against some TOUGH teams from MO, KS, Iowa, Nebraska and Arkansas.

Finishing the tournament with a 7-3 record and proving they are true competitors and can battle with the best of them.

Crunching some numbers from the past 10 days:
14-4 record
131 runs scored
155 hits
367 overall team batting average
1st place finish
4th place finish in Nationals

With an overall 45-16-2 record

That’s some incredible softball for any team - but even more impressive considering this is a group of girls that were thrown together less than a year ago.

I canNOT wait to see what this team will do. It’s amazing as a coach to just sit back and watch a team come together. Love these girls!!!
