SOLD!
Deal for page followers. $290 delivered within Lee’s Summit. It is listed on marketplace right now for $340. I’ve got several machines of all sizes if you’re in the market.
Excellent condition and well maintained Troy-Bilt 2410 snowblower. Can handle any storm Mother Nature can throw at the Kansas City area.
Easy Starting 179cc engine that has fresh oil and new spark plug. Starts very easily with pull start option but also has electric start to make it even easier! Just plug into wall, hit start button and go to work!
24” clearing path and a 20” tall auger box lets this machine handle 18” snowfalls without issue. Aggressive augers and powerful ejector along with remote chute control make it very easy to move snow from where you don’t want it to where you do! I installed new skid shoes and scraper bar is in good condition and height is correctly set. Extra auger shaft shear pins are also included
Machine has 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds. Tires have excellent tread and hold air without issue. Traction will not be a problem. Will clear an average 3 car driveway in less than 15 minutes. It’s a simple and fun machine to use so when you are done with your driveway, you will probably keep going and knock out your favorite neighbors drives as well.
Everything on this snowblower is fully functional and ready to go. You will have to do nothing except unload it and go to work. Gas tank will be full at time of sale. Won’t find a nicer comparable machine on marketplace.

It’s that time of the year. Drag your snowblower out this week and make sure it will start. I love working on snowblowers when it’s 50 degrees out. I hate it when it’s below freezing and therefore work is priced accordingly. If you have issues, get on the schedule now. Nothing worse than 10” of snow on the ground and a non starter in your garage. You’ve been warned!

Listing here instead of marketplace because it’s such an ideal snowblower for KC winters. One of you deserves this. I picked this one up last winter and have been sitting on it waiting to have time to get it set up and ready for its next owner.
It’s a Craftsman 22” two stage self propelled model. It’s got both recoil and electric start options and has been gone through and brought up to my standard.
It has had a complete fuel system rebuild from tank to intake including all new fuel filters, new fuel lines, new carburetor and all new gaskets. It runs like new.
New spark plug and oil change mean you will have no maintenance needed for the next few years!
Self propel system operates perfectly and tires have great tread. It is a perfect little machine to do yours and half your block! Once you get to going, you won’t want to stop.
Augers are in great shape and ejection chute is easily adjustable so you can put unwanted snow exactly where you want it.
Snowblower has all the features of an industrial unit, sized appropriately for residential use. It takes up just a little more space than an average lawnmower.
Page followers price will be $225 delivery included. I’d list this for $275 on the street.

Mice in a storage shed had some fun with this one! Nothing beats fire on initial assessment! It has been sorted out and brought back to glory! It’s listed on marketplace right now for $215, $185 with delivery to page followers. This was a great little project and one of my more memorable ones. I’ll be a bit sad to see it go but someone will be getting a great little machine. (Fire video in comments).
Marketplace description:
Great condition Yard Machines (MTD) 22” Snowblower. I rescued this from a neighbor’s shed and brought it up to my standard which included a lot of work and new parts. Everything on it is functioning exactly like it should and it’s ready to take on winter!
It has a very easy starting and strong running 5.5HP Tecumseh engine. It has fresh oil, a new spark plug and a brand new carburetor and fuel lines. I also added a fuel shut off switch for storage. Engine purrs.
Machine is self propelled and brand new tires and inner tubes are installed. Self propel system works perfectly and with fresh tires, traction will never be an issue for you.
Machine is a two stage machine and aggressive augers and ejector are in great condition, shear pins on auger shaft are new. Ejector chute is adjustable so you can put unwanted snow where you want it. This snowblower is right at home in snow depths of up to 12”.
This is an ideal machine for Kansas City winters. It is compact (takes up a little more space than an average lawnmower) and is large enough to handle every snow storm we encounter here. It’s an easy and fun machine to use, you will probably find yourself doing all your neighbors driveways as well! All maintenance is up to date and with all the new parts, there are many more years of reliable service in it. I will go over all operational aspects as well as required maintenance (minimal) with the new owners at the time of sale. Machine will also be filled with a full tank of Non Ethanol fuel when it leaves my garage.

Haven’t had a massive rescue in a little bit. This one had a bit of a problem with slight overheating. Had a donor motor in the boneyard and a new set of tires on the shelf. Several other parts were damaged and I was able to scavenge everything needed without going to store or having to order anything online. Other than a little burn on one of the decals (that I left just for the historical value) it is back in action and ready to mow again! Love it when things all fall into place.

I’m 100% certain that nobody wants to hear anything about snow or snowblowers in June, however this is the month to take out all of your low usage or seasonal equipment (snowblowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers) and give them a 5 min run to keep everything fresh. Obviously the best thing to do is run them completely out of gas at last use of winter but nobody really does that. Ethanol in regular pump gas can be very hard on small engine fuel systems when it sits for extended periods. Use ethanol free gas and if you can and start your equipment up periodically in non use seasons to keep things going, it will help a lot when it’s actually time to use it. You don’t want to be caught with a non runner when there is 6” of snow on the ground. Also, I’ll work anyone a screaming off season snowblower deal if you are in the market, I’ve got some fantastic machines ready for winter.

Haven’t posted in almost a year. Haven’t really needed to, which I suppose is a good thing! I have quite the pile built up for rehabilitation from the off season but I’m putting seasonal tuneups in the front of the line. $50 seasonal gets new oil, new spark plug, new air filter, blade sharpening, cable lubrication and a good cleaning. Pickup and delivery is also included within Lee’s Summit. If you get yours out to mow and have mechanical problems, I can help solve those too. Hope everyone survived the winter, I am more than ready for the grass to be greener!

Three Generations of Toro SR’’s. Oldest one still as good as newest.

Guess it’s time to come out of hibernation. Spring push mower start up service still $45. Includes pickup and delivery within Lee’s Summit city limits. Oil change, spark plug, air filter, blade sharpening, other essential lubrication points and full cleanup is included. It’s been busy enough I’ve not needed to post so get on books now! Hope everyone has survived the winter!

I’ve had this monster lurking in the corner of my garage for longer than I care to admit. A Buddy asked me if I could help him sort out it’s issues. Starter recoil was the main issue. I’ve spent a good amount of time looking for OEM parts for the repair but on these vintage saws, sometimes the parts you need cost nearly what the saw is worth. I finally found economical replacement parts and got it screaming again. Coffin case is pretty awesome too! I’m kind of enjoying getting familiar with chainsaws this fall.

Two non runners picked up this weekend. One had a bad pump that was a 10 minute replacement. One had the fuel valve turned off. Both up and going and I still shake my head at what people will discard as trash. Need a pressure washer? I’ve got a couple great ones!

SOLD!!!
My personal pressure washer is up for sale. This thing is an absolute monster and has taken on the task of cleaning close to 200 mowers. Has an easy starting 190cc 8.5GT Briggs & Stratton engine. 2800psi and 2.3GPM capabilities. Has every pressure tip possible and an onboard Soap/chemical tank. I stumbled across an amazing deal on a new one, so this one needs to find a new home. It’s been maintained regularly. I have an hour meter installed on all my personal equipment to help with maintenance scheduling, I’ll leave it on there so you can do the same. I’ve got it up on marketplace right now for $190. $165 to page followers.

Thanks everyone for bidding on the snowblower! Project Happiness LSMO even made a fun sign for the new owners!
10/08/2022
Project Happiness LSMO is one of my favorite things to support! Right now before the snow hits, I’m offering this snowblower up to page followers. 100% of sale price will be donated to them. Starting bid, $35. Buy it now for $125. This one has been my personal snowblower for the last 2 seasons. Had a new belt installed last year. It can do my driveway and 3-4 neighbors driveways on a single tank of gas. Starts easily and runs great. I upgraded so I can do more neighbors driveways when snow hits! It’s an oldie but it’s a goodie! Pulled it out of shed today and it fired on the second pull of the rope! Be ready when the time comes! Bidding closes Friday at 3pm. I’ll deliver it for free within KC metro and it will come with full tank of gas!

Fun and frightening project this weekend. Log splitter came to me pretty close to exactly 40 years after I nearly lost a finger in a very similar machine. Was in a no start condition. New carburetor and fuel lines and it’s ready to split logs and fingers again. I’m not going to lie, I got a bit of an upset stomach when it fired on the first pull and hydraulic ram engaged effortlessly.

End of season means it’s time to start thinning out the boneyard into a couple of loads to scrapyard. I’ve had this pretty sweet John Deere JS63 with a blown engine and was able to re-power it with an engine from a mower that otherwise was a goner. It turned out pretty cool and has been my favorite re-power of the season. $100 to any page followers at steep end of season discount (still at least a month left of mowing). Otherwise I’m going to sit on it till next spring when prices go up a bit and list on marketplace. Everything is fully serviced and self propel works flawlessly. Mulching only as bags for these are hard to come by and frankly not very user friendly so pretty much all of these are set up to mulch.

Carburetor replacement on a snowblower, seriously a buzz kill. Not ready for this work yet. It’s not a horrible time to pull your snowblower out of the shed to make sure it’s going to start. Big discount to those who bring me theirs before temperatures hit freezing. I don’t mind them when I can feel my fingers and toes, problem is that a lot of the time people don’t know they have issues until there is 6” of snow on the ground. Be ready!

Got a commercial Gravely that ”fell off the back of a truck” and broke wheel mounts and now it “rides a bit goofy…ok… a lot goofy “. Got parts in today and it’s going to be amazing again. Picked up a sweet Honda mower to get running right, finishing up a great power washer and had to Hotwire my compressor when the on/off switch failed me on a bicycle fix! Glad weekend is ahead!
