It’s time for some fun in the snow!

USAFA will be closed for non-mission essential personnel Thursday, Nov 7. The CDC and Youth Center will open at 7 am for reserved mission essential personnel. The Base Fitness Center will be 24/7 access only, the pool will be closed.

We did very well today at the Southern Colorado Horseman’s Association Show/ Gymkhana! Congratulations to all of our ribbon winners! Shoutout to Misty, Rock and Bear (pictured left to right) on being the best ponies for our team!

Today we made the 3 hour journey to volunteer at Mountain Valley Horse Rescue ! We mucked the stalls for over 50 horses, stacked hay, and had a good time doing it! We are so happy that we were able to give our time to support these animals! Thank you for hosting us and we hope to be back soon!

Long time no see Ol’ friends! Here’s what we’ve been up to lately! A few members in their free time showed back in early September at Black Forest Saddle Club ! Colette showed her horse Bear in the Halter Gelding Class! Ashlie placed 3rd in the Beginning Western Pleasure Class, Lauryn placed 3rd in the Advanced Walk/Trot Horsemanship, and Jacob placed 2nd in the Beginning Walk/Trot Horsemanship! (Pictured from left to right) Amazing performance by these riders and Mr. Bear!

Sgt Vargo from the USAFA Equestrian Team lent us a helping hand the other week by installing new panels and helping us get them from the store. We can't thank him enough for everything he does to not only help us out, but the entire USAFA Equestrian Center!
