Testing Day at J&P’s TKKA Where Mind Body & Spirit Are Truly Tested

Today marks the beginning of testing for our students at J&P’s TKKA and let me tell you this isn’t your typical belt test A lot of schools focus just on the techniques maybe throw in a few push-ups and hand out belts like candy That’s not how we do things here

Our testing is a mind body and spirit challenge

🔹 Mind It’s not just about memorizing forms or self-defense moves It’s about fortitude discipline and having the mental resilience to push through when things get tough not just in martial arts but in life

🔹 Body The physical grind is real The number of exercises depends on the belt level but for example a student testing for high blue belt today has to complete 325 reps of each exercise That’s 19 different exercises back to back No shortcuts No excuses Just grit

🔹 Spirit When the body is exhausted and the mind is screaming to quit this is where spirit takes over This is where students learn what they’re made of The warrior inside has to step up push past limits and refuse to give in

At J&P’s TKKA a new belt isn’t given it’s earned through sweat struggle and an undeniable commitment to personal growth We push our students because we know they are capable of so much more than they think

🎄 Holiday Update from J&P’s TKKA! 🎄

Hey TKKA family! Just a heads-up – we’re taking a break this week to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The dojo will be closed, and we encourage you to spend this time making memories, eating good food, and maybe practicing a few kicks in your living room (careful with the tree!).

🎆 Next week, we’ll only be closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day – because even ninjas need time to toast to new beginnings.
