This is a late post but here it goes. I started this journey a little over 5 years ago. On August 8, 2024 I tested out 5 years clear and cancer free. I have not posted anything because August was a really bad month. It has taken me a little while to post this for multiple reasons, but the thing that hit the hardest was the loss of my brother James Brenton on 8/5/2025. James was not kin to me but he was absolutely family. He was so excited to hear if I tested out clear and was very clear that he better be the first person to get the news besides my beautiful wife Angie. I am one of the few people that will ever have a friendship like James and I had. I miss you my brother and look forward to seeing you again. I am thankful to God for my wife Angie for all of her support, for all of my friends, family, and coworkers. I would also like to thank God for friends like James Brenton because most people will never have a friend like he was.
