Nkem Chemistry and The Way Forward

Hi everyone. I just want to suggest that it's time for sober reflection. We have eaten enough during the festive seasons. Now it's time to seek God's face for the year, 2025. And we could see Him through fasting and prayer. Just note that, It's a solemn period. .

2025 is your landmark year. If you believe God shout hallelujahhhh

TOPIC: *" ALL THINGS ARE NEW – PART I "*

*MEMORY VERSE:*
*“And he who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ And he said to me, ‘Write this down, for these words are true and faithful.’”* (Revelation 21:5, NKJV)

BIBLE READING: *" Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)"*
*18 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.*

*19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it shall spring forth; do you not perceive it? Behold, I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

*MESSAGE*
Jesus is an expert at making all things new. For example, when the wine ran out at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, He didn’t just turn water into wine; the new wine was better than the old. When Jesus came on the scene, He gave those present a whole new experience, and the master of the feast confirmed it *(John 2:1-10)*. Jesus will do the same for you this new year, in Jesus’ name.

Jesus can give you a fresh start. *2 Corinthians 5:17* says that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and all things have become new.

All God requires to transform everything in your life is that you surrender to Him. This is because, in order for the new to come, it is necessary to leave the old behind.

When Jacob faced the fear of meeting his twin brother, Esau, after so many years, he had a divine encounter that changed his old name to a new one – Israel. This name change brought about the miracle of reconciliation that he desired, because as long as he continued to carry his old name, he could not experience renewed miracles. God also needed to change the names of Abraham and Sarah so that His promises regarding their lives would be fulfilled *(Genesis 17:5-15)*.

God does not put His new wine into old wineskins of sin *(Luke 5:37-38)*. In order for Him to make all things new in your life, you need to be willing to leave the old behind. You need to surrender your old ways of thinking so that you can receive and follow God’s directions for your life. You need to let go of old traditions so that God’s new culture can take hold. When it was time for God to draw the Gentiles to Himself, He gave Simon Peter a vision that caused him to change his old thinking. God showed him a sheet filled with unclean birds and animals and told him to kill and eat them. God wanted to change his old mindset so that He could accept the Gentiles into the church *(Acts 10:9-16)*.

God is limitless. He can make all things new, but sometimes our old wineskins prevent Him from pouring His newness into our lives. Beloved, as we still enjoy the newness of this year, ask the Lord to reveal any old mindsets and flaws that may be preventing His new plans from manifesting in your life.

*PRAYER POINT:*
*Father, please help me to let go of the old things in my life that are hindering me from experiencing Your newness

Our prayers are with America especially Los Angeles over wild fire. It was terrible that many houses, cars were brunt completely😭

Seeking the kingdom of God
To seek the kingdom of God is to
1. Hunger and thirst for the rule and reign of God in our lives with Jesus being in charge - Matthew 5:6, 6:9-10

2. Be willing to submit totally and obey His Will as we come under the lordship of Jesus Christ and He is in control of our lives

Benefits of the kingdom of God
1 our sins are forgiven Acts 3:19, 5:31
2. It is not rules and regulations
3. It is righteousness, peace and joy in the holy Spirit -Romans 14:17

Conclusion - we are equally commanded to witness to others that the kingdom of God is open to all who will surrender their lives to Jesus - Matthew 3:2

Text: Matthew 6:33
- But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

The kingdom of God is also known as the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 19:23-24

Aspects of the kingdom of God
It comprises three aspects
1. Universal kingdom - in this kingdom God rules in absolute sovereignty over all His creatures - psalm 47:2, 7-8

2. Mediatorial kingdom - here God uses divinely chosen human representatives to speak on His behalf and stand in the gap for His people

3. Spiritual kingdom - this kingdom is an invisible kingdom that exists in the heart of believers in Christ Jesus -Luke 17:20-21

Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world - John 18:36

i. He preached that repentance is necessary to be part of the kingdom of God

ii. The kingdom of God can be equated with the sphere of salvation that must be entered into by being born again - John 3:5-7

iii. It is the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king or the fulfilment on earth of God's will - Matthew 6:10

HOW TO RESPECT YOURSELF IN 2025
1. Stop looking for who is not looking for you
2. Stop begging
3. Stop saying more than necessary
4. When people disrespect you confront them immediately
5. Don't eat other people's food more than they eat yours
6. Reduce how you visit some people
7. Invest in yourself. Make yourself happy
8. Stop entertaining gossip about other people
9. Think before you talk 80% of how people value you is what comes out of your mouth
10. Always look your best. Dress the way you should be addressed
11. Be an achiever. Get busy with your goals
12. Respect your time
13. Don't stay in a relationship where you don't feel respected and valued
14. Learn to spend money on yourself
15. Be scarce sometimes
16. Be a giver more than a receiver
17. Don't go where you are not invited and when invited don't over stay your welcome
18. Treat people exactly the way you want to be treated
19. Except they owe you money, two call attempts is enough. If they value you they will call you back
20. Be good at what you do.
