Well the first race of the season is in the books for the #17 Century Chemical Corporation, Rickett Performance Motorsports team! We started the day with an 11th place qualifying effort in group qualifying and were able to bring it home in one piece with a 6th place finish in the feature!

Thank You to all our partners and people that make this happen: Century Chemical Corporation, Action RV, and Air-Pro Heating and Cooling. We will be back in action in a few weeks to chase the checkered flag again!

**Practice / Race Weekend Update**

Practice Thursday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway was a success for the Century Chemical Corporation, Rickett Performance Motorsports Dirt Late Model! We were able to turn some laps, shake down the car, and get a feel for what we have for the 2024 season. However, practice did reveal a few minor issues that need to be worked out before we hit the track again. With this being the first practice of the season because of rain outs, and there only being a 1 day turn around time to fix these issues, we unfortunately will not be racing tonight.😞

This race weekend wasn't originally on our master schedule, but we added it last minute. We were hopeful that practice wouldn't produce any issues that would keep us from racing, but this was not the case. It's racing and these things happen. We will get these issues resolved and be ready to tackle East Alabama Motor Speedway again on April 6th!💪👊

Thank you to everyone that came out to help at practice Thursday night and for all of our partners that make this happen, we definitely couldn't do it without you!❤️

MILTON, Fla. (March 13) — Plans for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to kick off its season this weekend at Talladega Short Track Bama Bash remain on, albeit with a condensed schedule. Originally planned as a Friday-Saturday doubleheader with a Thursday practice session, the weekend event has been condensed to a Saturday-only show due to an unfavorable weather forecast on Friday.

The $5,000-to-win show planned for Friday night has been cancelled and will not be made up. In order to keep the pit area empty and avoid messy grounds for Saturday, Thursday's practice has also been cancelled along with Thursday's HTF Series Media Day.

Gate opening times for Saturday's event will be announced Saturday morning. Saturday's start times remain as planned with the drivers meeting scheduled for 5:30 pm central time, hot laps set for 6, and racing to follow.

Along with the HTF Series Super Late Models, Saturday's program also features a $2,000-to-win race for Crate Racin’ USA Late Models, a $1,000-to-win show for Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman, and a $750-to-win feature for Hot Shots. All of Saturday's action will be streamed live at http://www.huntthefront.tv.

Series and track officials are actively monitoring multiple weather reports and forecasts and will announce any changes to the weekend in plenty of time for race teams and fans to make alternate plans.
