I will be leading TWO options for yoga camps for kiddos this summer at Blossom Yoga! I'm so excited to bring these fun and enriching yoga classes just for kids to the Cheyenne community! Monday-Friday, July 8-12, 2:00pm - 3:30pm Come make new friends and stay active this summer all while experiencing the wonder that is yoga! This play centered yoga camp is just for tweens, ages 8-12 years old. We will have themed yoga practices, crafts, games, fun music, mindfulness and snacks!
Registration Fee is $85 per child. Space is limited. Registration closes July 5th. Parents/Guardians, be prepared to sign a waiver for your child on the first day of camp.

At the end of the camp week, please allow your Tween to join us for an extended camp day project. On Friday, July 12, after camp, we will walk over the Catz N Coffee Connections, Cheyenne's Cat Cafe at 615 W 20th St. Those participating are encouraged to bring a donation for the care of the cats at the Cat Cafe, this can be monetary or anything from the list you will be given at the first class. We will spend an hour at the Cat Cafe making toys for the cats, learning about cat care and playing with the animals. If participating, please be ready to complete an additional waiver for the cat cafe (provided on the first day of class at Blossom). Please pick up your child from the Cat Cafe at 4:45pm on the Friday of camp.

Get a few hours to yourself this summer or go enjoy Frontier Days while your kiddos learn yoga and engage in enriching activities with friends during our Yoga Summer Camps for Littles Ages 5-7. This is a play centered yoga camp filled with themed yoga practices, crafts, interactive games, music, mindfulness exercises, afternoon snacks, and outdoor fun!
Children must be fully potty trained.
Outdoor play- weather permitting
Parents/Guardians should be prepared to sign a waiver for their child(ren) the first time they attend camp.

Monkeys! ๐ต Our Yoga for Teens Series Ages 13-17 starts up again on March 23rd & 30th. Saturdays from 2pm-4pm. Last week we made eye pillows with lentils and dried herbs and then used them during Yoga Nidra. Fun sequences, games, crafts and snacks at beautiful Blossom Yoga! Taking โgood care of ourselvesโ can look a whole host of different ways and takes some insight and pause in order to discover what the mind and body need.
Perhaps you need a deep drink of water, a nap, a walk in the park (even if itโs windy), a 5- minute seat in silence, an afternoon off, a massage, a date with your love, one-on-one fun time with your kiddo, 30 minutes in a good book, a wholesome meal..
The list can go on and on..
But when we make these critical (not minuscule at all) choices, even the smallest nourishment to ourselves can make a big impact to the world around us.
We become less agitated, less angry, less irritableโฆ less, less, less and LESS IS MORE .. more love, more compassion, more grace.
Be more by being less ๐

"People often use the word โregulatedโ as if it is the โintellectual-soundingโ synonym for the word โcalmโ. People also often use the word โdysregulatedโ as if it is the intellectual-sounding synonym for the word โangryโ or โcryingโ or โtantrumingโ or whatever else word they might want to use.
Regulated means your energy levels match the task.
Dysregulated means your energy levels do not match the task.
A child laughing hysterically and kicking and squealing and playfighting is not regulated to go to sleep.
A child laughing hysterically and running enthusiastically through an open field outside is perfectly regulated to play outside in a big open field.
Sometimes helping a child regulate means putting them into an environment where their level of energy matches the environment. Sometimes helping a child regulate means helping their body get its needs met so that their energy can match the task thatโs up next.
